Open Source Software

The following is a list of our most prominent open source projects. For a full list of all our open source software projects, please visit our GitHub page.

  • Trial

Trial is a modular and flexible game engine written entirely in Common Lisp. It powers all of the games we develop, and is freely available for all to use.

  • Radiance

Radiance is a web application environment, and sports a set of standardised interfaces to allow multiple web applications to coexist and share common resources. Many web applications have been written for Radiance, which are also available for free, such as a blog, mailing list, bug tracker, imageboard, gallery, and more.

  • Alloy

Alloy is a new user interface toolkit written entirely in Common Lisp. It is structured as a set of extensible protocols that allow Alloy to be integrated with other toolkits and various rendering backends. Alloy is used for the UI in all of our games.

  • Lichat

Lichat is an internet chat protocol specification and a set of implementations of that protocol. We provide a scalable server implementation, as well as client libraries in Python, Common Lisp, Java, and JavaScript. User interfaces for the web, Android, and Weechat have also been written.

  • Markless

Markless is a markup standard that aims to provide an easy to understand and use format that is still fast and easy to parse. We provide syntax highlighting modules for various editors, as well as a reference parser implementation in Common Lisp.

Games

The following is a list of our commercial releases. We've also developed a number of games for game jams such as Ludum Dare. For a more complete list of games, please see our Itch.io page.

  • Kandria

Explore a ruined open world of caverns and settlements. Hack and slash your way through missions: patrol borders, repair machines, scavenge supplies - choose your quests and dialogue. Or go fishing, forage mushrooms, and race the clock! The old world is gone - the future is up to you.

  • Eternia: Pet Whisperer

Tired of the daily churn, only to come home to an empty apartment? The Rainbow Dome shelter will help you find the perfect partner to spice up your life! Check out our exotic selection of pets and you'll surely find the piece of you you've always been missing!

Members

The following is a list of public members of the open source collective part. Many contributors to the projects will not be listed here. Especially for our game projects we usually hire external help. Please consult the credits and contributor lists of the individual projects for an accurate view.
